Neromuscular Therapy/ Trigger Point

Neuromuscular Therapy is used to treat specific trigger points. A trigger point is an area of a muscle that when compressed produces pain or other neurological sensations either within the area being touched or in another area of the body. A trigger point can be caused from injury, poor posture, repetitive motion, or emotional stress. This type of therapy is particularly benifcial to those who may be recovering from accident or injury, have buildt up scar tissue or an entraped nerve.
